A emotional tribute

Services for Real Estate Pros with Sharon Lee's Virtual Assistance

Good morning everyone-I get these videos in my e-mail every morning and I wanted to share this one. One of the things we do well is in times of tragedy is come together as a country. Last Friday our country but most especially the folks in Newtown Connecticut experienced unthinkable and senseless loss. Innocent children. None over 7 yrs old and 6 adults. Teachers who did their best to protect their children and in doing so sacrificed their own lives. Here is a powerful but simple tribute to all.

Sharon, I can't help but think, why do we need a tragedy to come together ? Ye, it is admirable and it is part of makes our country the best, as we are the first to help internationally also. Soon after, we go back to our former habits. Have a delightful day! A

I saw this live and have been amazed at the depth of compassion this country feels for those families.

Alexandra-I wonder the same thing and it is sad we have to have a tragedy happen to do what we obviously could any other time but for some reason chose NOT to. You & Ron  have a delightful day as well

Tammy-It is something this country does well.

Sharon, I have stopped watching as I felt there was a huge black cloud over me, and needed a better outlook on life.     This was a senseless act, and policies need to be more strict with our children.

I understand and I agree and something positive needs to be done so this doesn't happen again otherwise all those that have died have died in vain.

Sharon, well said.  With my hubby being a teacher, he was emotional as well.  In fact, today he has to go to a funeral for one of his former students who commit suicide.  So much sadness.....

Sharon - it looks like a beautiful video.  I started to watch but wasn't able to continue.  As with everyone this has hit me so hard and I still can't wrap my head around it.  When it comes to this happening to babies we really need to take a tough look at what we can do as a country to try and prevent this from ever happening again.

I am with Debra ( above ), I cannot watch anymore about it at this time. I am devastated, as we all are, but not coping with the realty of it well. My mind keeps working - trying to figure out what is wrong that allows this type of senseless act to happen.

At some point, I'll be back and I'm sure the video is beautiful - if you promote it, it has to be... hope you're feeling better. D

Debra-That is very understandable. I haven't watched a lot of coverage other than the first day. You are so right we HAVE to take a TOUGH look at what can be done to CHANGE things . It is happening WAY TOO MUCH, Once is TOO many.

Debb-I understand completely. I purposely haven't watched much other than the first day. It is a beautiful and touching video. Simple but important. I am feeling better at times during the day and other times not so much.
