Buying a Home

If you’re in the market for a home in Scottsdale, it’s best Scottsdale Hometo be prepared by having established relationships with an experienced lender and real estate agent.  The lender and real estate agent will guide you and answer your questions as they relate to the current housing market.

Buying a Home  will include being pre-approved for a mortgage so you’ll know your purchasing power.  You’ll also need to have provided a lender with the required financial documentation and complete a loan application.  Once these steps are accomplished, it’s time to sit down with a real estate agent.

In that first meeting, you'll learn that with Buying a Home, you should expect to provide detailed information as to why you are moving, what type of home you are seeking, and when you expect to move.  If this is an investment property, all aspects will be reviewed as to return on investment, length of ownership, and whether or not a 1031 Exchange will be utilized.

Understanding the existing housing market for Buying a Home is crucial to managing expectations. In today’s housing market, you can expect to compete with other buyers due to low inventory.  If the home has been remodeled and appears move-in ready, it may receive multiple offers.  Being able to offer the best terms, whether that means financing, downpayment or close of escrow date, can sometimes provide a winning strategy. Understanding what it takes to be able to compete against other offers is critical to a satisfactory purchase.

So if you’re searching for a buyers agent who will spend the time necessary to assist you with Buying  A Home, give me a call!

Johnny - yes no grass!  That landscaping is called Xeriscape and is actually a point on the LEED rating system as it uses less water and the plants are native to the desert.  Happy Holidays!
