HOW TO BE A ROCK STAR IN REAL ESTATE!
After securing two listings this week, I left both appointments feeling like a Rock Star! Why? Because both clients were simply thankful that I did my job! No, I am not anything super special, I just love what I do it and it pays off!
According to both clients, each had interviewed several other agents and were less than impressed. I simply prepared the way I always do, truly listened to each client's needs, time frames and concerns. I worked with both to strategize and discuss various options that might work for them.
Sadly, I was told by both clients that the other agents who showed up basically did just that, "showed up". They went over the numbers and left them scratching their heads with questions and concerns. I certainly didn't do anything miraculous or amazing, I simply listened to them and discussed many different scenarios with each of them.
So being a Rock Star in real estate is easy when others forget that this business is NOT about houses. This business is about PEOPLE! We can never, ever lose sight of this fact.
How to be a rock star in real estate? Take the time listen, empathize, advise, strategize and make a plan for each client's situation. Doing what we should be doing rather than just going through the motions will result in you being the next REAL ESTATE ROCK STAR!
