Good morning Debbie. A little scary but quite the story. Preparation is key. I bet you don't do this drive often but having sand and a shovel in the snow is always a good idea. Glad you are OK.
I thought it was a solid driveway.... There was even a stop sign.... But I think I went on snow on mud.....
@Sheila you are right I do not have to drive in the snow very often. It will snow here in the valley but I will often stay in.
Winter in the Boise Mountain areas is as hard as you a re prepared. If you are ready for it, it is actually pretty easy. I always keep a winter box in back which has a set of chains, a tow rope, small camp type shovel,some water, golves, some snacks and lastly a jump suit that slips over my cloths. No not an orange one.
Debbie, that reminds me I need to equip my car for snow that will show up anytime soon here, in New England.
