We discuss the importance of building rapport with your clients.  People who choose to buy from you, instead of the other agents in your area, do so because they connect and like you.  The #1 reason people purchase from their sales person is trust and whether or not they LIKE YOU.  It's not your knowledge, it's not your understanding of the community and market.  In the end, they will not buy from you if you are a jerk to them and they don't like you!

This is a difficult thing for some.  Some pour their heart and soul into market knowledge, techniques on negotiating, listing presentations, etc...  Instead of that next time, pour your heart and soul into creating a compelling story, telling a great story about how you got to where you are.  

What is your story?  Tell us about some time when you either won the sale due to building rapport...or a time when you failed to do so and it backfired on you!
