Rhode Island's New Year's Eve Happening - Bright Night. Downtown Providence RI is a buzz with New Year's Eve 
happenings on December 31st for Bright Night! In its tenth year, this grass roots funded organization brings a healthy and family way of celebrating the end to the old year and the hopefulness of the New Year!
2013 Bright Night schedule of events is on the link here and can be downloaded in pdf form for it is a highly organized set of events. Set in many venues around Providence, the New Year's eve celebration is a finely tuned happening. In fact wear your good walking boots and warm woolie clothes because you are going to be trekking from the Convention Center to the RISD auditorium to check out all Bright Night events. This is the go to place in RI real estate you want to be with family and friends on 12/31/2012!
Tickets for Bright Night Providence are on sale as follows: prices are $15.00 for adults and $10.00 for children (aged 15 and under) if bought in advance, and $20.00 for adults and $10.00 for children on the day of Bright Night. Purchasers who buy three children’s tickets get one free. Tickets can be bought online from the Bright Night website or at any BankRI branch and the East Side Marketplace.
