Yesterday, December 27 was going to be a quick several hours at the office, showing some houses in Payette Idaho and then home to do end of the year bookeeping. One of the things I love about our job is that a plan can change instantly.. I wound up showing all day! The last one involved a trip down to the area west of Parma Idaho where the Boise River meets the Snake River and Idaho ends and Oregon begins. It's always a pretty trip my route to my listing there takes me right along a very pretty stretch of the Boise. After my showing I was headed to the bridge over the Snake at Adrian Oregon to take a short cut on Lytle Boulevard (basically the Oregon Trail) to my home outside of Vale. I came upon a band of sheep being moved from one area to the other, complete with the sheepwagon and shepherds, sheepdogs the whole bit. My picture isn't that great - didnt want to get close enough to spook them.
It's fun to see the OLD WEST still in action.
