New Hampshire…I Love it Here !!
For anyone that follows my blog you know I spend as much time off in the woods, ski trails and playing on the golf course in my beautiful state as I possibly can. So I thought it would be fitting to share some of my favorite photos of the year and in all of the seasons with you…as we draw 2012 to a close. ENJOY!
The scenic Kancamagus highway in Lincoln New Hampshire has many photo ops in my book none are better than this heart shaped tree in full fall foliage colors.
Woodstock NH...this alien cloud appeared at sunset on Christmas eve, there is something magical about the formation and this view from my kitchen window.
Back to foliage - being a Realtor I take pictures of other peoples homes all the time...none are better than the Riverside properties located on the Pemi River.
It's no wonder I have a hard time finding my golf ball when the distractions of a glorious landscape makes you forget what you were looking for...Fore!!
One of my helpful neighbors offered to take the trash out - it was a hot July day so I allowed him to do the heavy lifting while I took pictures from the living room.
If you live in New England you know seasons often overlap...you can have snow and foliage on the same day...or an 80 degree day while it's still ski season.
One of my other favorite spots on the Nationally designated scenic Highway called the Kancagamus (a by gone indian tribe of the region) or Route 112.
The last day of May...another beautiful end to a spring day, is accompanied by a wonderful sunset to cap off this White Mountain vista view.
November in the White Mountains, we call it "stick season" as the foliage is gone and the ground is still brown...but the 4,000+ foot peak dress up nice for a show.
Ski Season - this shot was taken from the top of Loon Mountain in February of 2012...it was a wonderful day to let the skis run, and enjoy the view on the lift.
A June Sunset in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire...what is better than owning a boat on a quiet lake in the summer?...Having a friend with a boat on a lake.
The Front of this train says it all...NH - during the leaf peeper season is what so many associate this state with. It's true but all the season bring something alive
This shot is the top of Rattle Snake mountain overlooking Squam lake Hollywood found this spot for Golden Pond, but I get to take this hike whenever I like.
A field of Lupines in June - Sugarhill New Hampshire- with the backdrop of Franconia Notch State Park and several of the state 4 to 5,000 foot peeks .
Flume Gorge State Park in Lincoln New Hampshire is one of my favorite places to sneak away in the middle of the day...and it's only 4 miles from my office..Shhh.
Back to the river, I found the reflective nature of the couds on the water to be an interesting subject for this shot...and I didn't have to go far, this is my back yard.
Campton New Hampshire off the Waterville Valley ski resort exit you find a mountain side golf course and you'll never find a better view while playing.
This view of Mount Washington at it's magestic 6,300 feet is always inspiring, and the bonus of skiing is always the view from the top.
Winter-spring-summer or fall...we have it all. Cheers to the New Year !!
