Are you a senior and want to have a community to yourself and no kids? Well here it is, and its coming to Lake Oconee! Lake Oconee is adding a new senior living community, with the cost of $41 million dollars. They are planning to open in 2014, at least that's what they are aiming for. This community is going to be called dubbed FountainCrest. There will be 75 apartments and cottages as well as 20 assisted living residences and 26 memory care residences, according to a news release. You can choose between one, two, or three bedroom apartment/cottages. The developers are also promising a “service-rich environment” designed to provide rehabilitative care, according to the release. The owners are David Canavan, principal of Solutions Advisors LLC, Michael Harris of Cornerstone Living and Andrew L. O’Connell, president of ALO Consulting, in partnership with Dr. Robert S. Cowles, owner of the Cowles Clinic, a Lake Oconee-based medical campus. These developers are planning on breaking the ground in 2013. So if you are interested in any of this, please contact Kim and Lin Logan and they would love to find some information for you.
Happy New Years.
