Interesting Gap RE: Anoka County Real Estate Median Sales Prices at Year End 2012

Below is a great graphic obtained from the Minneapolis Area Association of REALTORS.  The graphic illustrates the monthly fluctuations of median sales prices for new construction homes versus previously owned homes.

Note the gap between the two at year end.  It's easy to say that new construction was a great opportunity just a few months back and they may be pricing themselves out of the market.  Note that the gap between previously owned real estate and new construction is abnormally larger than normal.  Clearly markets fluctuate monthly and for those planning on making a move in the next few months or year; be aligned with someone who can help you plan accordingly.  See below!
