Raising Cane At Pioneer Florida Museum & Village Syrup Tasting Contest

The Pioneer Florida Museum and Village is a fascinating step back in history. Many original pioneer homes were moved to the complex and then restored. There are also the restored Overstreet House, a church from Enterprise, the Trilby depot, and a train engine. All standing on 16 lovely acres that were donated for the Museum. equipment and kitchen equipment to look at.
If you haven’t been yet, head out on Saturday, Jan 12. The 3rd Annual Syrup Tasting Contest and Cane Grinding will be happening from 9am-4pm. 24 syrup producers will compete for Best Tasting Syrup. The museum is at 15602 Pioneer Museum Road, Dade City, FL. You can check out the website above for further info. You will get to enjoy the contest and tour the museum.
Museum entry fees are: Adults $8, Seniors $6; Kids 6-18 $4. Parking is free.
