Thanks, Bill! Who doesn't want a free weekend in Vail, CO, right?! Should be a fun contest.
I love and adore the idea, Didi! Went to the page, wasn't sure how to enter. Just kept taking me back to the FB page?
Morning Didi, wow that looks like a great opportunity!~I will have to see if the link works?
The link should take you to the FB wall for Slifer Smith & Frampton Real Estate. Under the cover photo is a link to the contest. Screen should look like the image below, the giveaway icon takes you to the contest. It's not a mobile app, so you'll have to enter on a computer. Here'a a direct link to the contest as well: Slifer Smith & Frampton Real Estate Vail Premier Weekend Giveaway
Hope that helps! It would be so cool if an AR rainmaker won!

Mimi, that's good to know. Obviously the contest tab isn't showing up for you on the homepage. We'll need to find out why. If you click the down arrow next to the youtube tab, you should be able to see all the apps they have. When you do this on the SSF site, does the contest tab appear?
In the meantime, I've changed the links in my blog post to go directly to the contest. :)
the dropdown doesn't show the contest, and the link in your post is still going to just the FB page. Sign me up?????? :))))
Argh. So weird. The link directly to the contest is: http://www.facebook.com/vailrealestate/app_28134323652
If this takes you to the SSF FB wall again, then perhaps you've got a setting in your FB account that blocks sweepstakes applications? See:
Facebook Application Privacy Settings: Limit Information Used by Apps
This is one issue that's very important for anyone who enters Facebook sweepstakes, since so many sweepstakes use apps. By default, apps can only see information that's available to everyone. To gain access to more information, they have to ask your permission.
You can remove permission from apps you no longer use, limit the information available to apps you still use, and block apps from requesting permission to access your account.
Read my article, How to Remove or Restrict Facebook Apps for detailed instructions.
To block an application from requesting information:
To see the apps you've blocked, and to unblock any that you'd like to use again:
Ok, takes me back to your home page. I'll print this up and follow the steps :) Thanks for the thorough explanation!
Sounds like fun. Good luck with it...
