Shaw Heights is a cozy neighborhood located in the center of Westminster Colorado, surrounded by shopping, restaurants, community centers and outdoor activity centers.

This neighborhood is located near Highway 36, which allows it to be just about a 20 minute car ride away from either Downtown Denver or Boulder.  Shaw Heights also sits next to the RTD Park and Ride, making commuting a breeze.

The Shaw Heights neighborhood is next to the Westminster City Market Place which includes a wide variety of stores ranging from a book store, to a grocery store to a jewelry store.  The Westminster City Market Place also has several chain restaurants and coffee shops. 

There is always something entertaining to do in Shaw Heights.  On either side of the neighborhood you will find two well known golf courses, (Lake Arbor Golf Course and Highland Hills Golf Course) several parks and play grounds, a walking path, a popular miniature golf course, Water World (Colorado’s largest water park) is also just a few minutes away.

One mile North of Shaw Heights on Highway 36, is the Westminster Promenade, which also houses several 

restaurants, a large movie theater, an arcade and game style restaurant, an ice cream shop, a skating rink and a bowling alley. Next to the Promenade is another grocery store, and a few home stores.  The Westminster Recreation Center is also located in the area just a few blocks East of the Westminster Promenade. 

Shaw Heights is part of the Adams County School District.  The specific schools for this neighborhood include Flynn Elementary, Shaw Heights Middle, and Westminster High.
