Wild, Wacky and Wonderful Beds!

I am hooked on HOUZZ.com have any of you checked it out yet? Houzz is similar to Pinterest except it is all pictures of the inside of fabulous homes. Here is another short post with mostly pictures. I am so in love with all of these creative bed ideas for children's rooms. I guess maybe it's time to re-decorate my own daughter's room.

Princess Bed? Yes please!

This would be a great space saver  in a dorm room.

What a great idea for a boys room!

I LOVE this for a toddler room!

Hi Katherine. I spend a lot of time on Houzz too--it's easy to lose track of time when I'm browsing through so many beautiful photos. I really like most of these bedroom ideas, especially the Contemporary Kids Beds design by Chicago Furniture because the idea is practical for all ages and both sexes. I'm not sure if the artist themed bed is a good idea, though. From a Feng Shui perspective, it would look as if the scissors are stabbing into the head of the sleeping child, and therefore be detrimental to their health. The boxing ring bed is neat! I've never seen that done before, and I like the way the crowd is painted on the wall, however, as a home stager, I would not recommend painting the name 'osama' anywhere in the home--maybe they should've come up with another slogan for that sign.

Great post, Katherine. I'll be sure to check out this site, but only when my children aren't around or else I see a bedroom remodel in my future!..:-)

@Janelle I know what you mean.... so easy to lose hours on Houzz.com LOL

@Loletha After seeing these beds I am definitely considering redecorating my daughters room. I am sure I am more excited than she is!
