Something We Like to Call...A View!

Driving home this afternoon at around 5:30 showed clearly that the promise of the return of afternoon sun is back.  Always good to see the Winter Solstice come and go...it means that the daylight hours are getting a bit longer.  A month ago, 5:30pm was almost dark...boooooo.  Today, we still had another half hour of daylight left.  Soooooo happy  :-D

Beth, the photo isn't perfect but the views are!  Glad you enjoyed it.

Tammy, believe it or not...spring is not that far off.  Great talking to you yesterday.

Kwee,  there is beauty in that flat Florida too, just a different kind.  Thanks for sharing those orchid views today.

Bob,  I know the views in your area are extraordinary also and always enjoy the photos you post.

Lisa, all it makes me want to do is save up more daylight time.  Give me light.

Pat, I know how fortunate I am. You are also lucky though...just a short drive out of the city, right?

Good morning Mona. A lovely picture in what I know is a special area. I enjoy the days and the light as well. Now that the light is hanging in longer it is an invitation to good things coming.

Hi Mona, I am always glad when we get past the dark afternoons ( 5:00 PM ), lol, I love the daylight and the longer it lasts into the evening, the longer I enjoy it. A very pretty photo.

Hi Everyone, I spent my daylight hours showing houses today and it felt great to be in the sunlight.

And the wheel turns.  Just the promise of a little more daylight each day, buoys our spirits and gives us hope for new beginnings.

Gay, I'd hate to have a flat tire anywhere, lol but luckily, I know how to change one.

Ain't it the truth Leslie, neither one of us likes those short days and long dark nights.  Here's to new beginnings.

Bob, I was thinking about you today.  This is a nice surprise to hear from you.  I'm working with someone today who has the same don't mess with me sunglasses and a great sense of humor.  You'd like him...not as much as you like me, but you'd like him.
