La Jolla homes end-of-2012 Market Report by neighborhood-prices up
Our prices are finally starting up, La Jollas' demand is picking up, There's still a selection but not as much, we're beginning to see the light. Single family homes rose 3%-16% in 11 neighborhoods, went down 1%-14% in 3, and 1 had no change. Condos, town homes, and twin homes went up 1%-13% in 6 neighborhoods, went down 4%-6% in 2, and 3 had no change. Prices of ocean view condos in the Village (Prospect St to the ocean) in creased 6%-14%. Sales volume was up 31% for single family homes and 35% for condos. So, nothing dramatic, but, at least an upward pattern. Inventory continues to be lower than normal but there's still a selection.
