Finding reasons to S-M-I-L-E during stressful times.
Life can be daunting and challenging as unfortunate events take place without warning, often rendering us speechless while stealing the joy that naturally resides. Even the most positive people can be tested during times of extreme stress and duress.
Despite what consequences that come our way, the ability to overcome seems to be a human built-in instinct. Finding ways to S-M-I-L-E again are an individual thing and only we know what drives the lips to turn upward.
You can:
- Get out in the fresh air
- Call a friend for a lunch date
- Write your thoughts in a journal
- Take a weekend to visit a favorite spot
- Lean on friends or family members for help
Getting up, dressing up and showing is almost a reflex for many but S-M-I-L-I-I-N-G through adversity helps to get you back on track. And the person you S-M-I-L-E at in the mirror will S-M-I-L-E back! I guarantee it!
