Where Do You Get Your Information?
I find it interesting that Facebook is such a huge source of information, information on all subjects. Now there is a 'vibrant' page for Realtors® and Facebook is trying to keep us engaged on their site.
I thought long about this over the weekend. Social media, social networking, social marketing, all things 'social' but are we getting lost in cyber space? How are we engaging with others? Is there a time a place for one-on-one personal interaction? What creates trends; or is the question who?
Yes, a lot of questions presented. I am inundated with sources of information and asked why I go to Facebook at least once a day? I want to know what my friends are posting and reading. There is developing a pattern behind each personality. Some post a lot of pictures they have taken. Others share a lot. What do I do? I tend to share and create a comment with the share that expresses my view of the information being shared. I also use Pages, one specific to real estate and one specific for my passion - helping our furry friends who give so much to us. Making a difference.
As January, 2013 is into full swing, I will be interested to see the continued role the Internet plays in our lives. Do buyers rely on individuals or do they depend on the non-biased nature of Trulia, Zillow, Realtor.com, HotPads, ActiveRain..... ? How can I engage with buyers and sellers? What information are they looking for and more important for me, why? I want the engagement so the why is the critical piece.
Where do you get your information and Why?
Thanks for reading. Please feel free to re-post.
