2012 was a year inspired by energy and the lead trend color was Tangerine Tango. 2013 is all about wealth and tranquility.
“Lively. Radiant. Lush… A color of elegance and beauty that enhances our sense of well-being, balance and harmony.”
With these words Pantone presents its color of the year 2013: Emerald 17-5641.
“Since antiquity, this luminous, magnificent hue has been the color of beauty and new life in many cultures and religions,” said the executive director of the Pantone Color Institute Leatrice Eiseman in a press release. “It’s also the color of growth, renewal and prosperity – no other color conveys regeneration more than green.”
