A personal MESSAGE to FRIENDS, FAMILY, NEIGHBORS, & Associates!

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty

Friends, Family, Neighbors, and Business Associates!

As I am sure you have heard by now, there is fantastic news for underwater homeowners and I am trying to get the word out to those who may be in need!

On January 1, 2013, Congress passed a year long extension of the Mortgage Forgiveness Debt Relief.

Originally passed in 2007, the Mortgage Forgiveness Debt Relief Act exempts qualifying homeowners from paying taxes on mortgage debt forgiven during a short sale, loan modification or foreclosure.

With the extension of this act, struggling homeowners can avoid foreclosure without facing thousands, even tens of thousands, in potential taxes.

The act, however, was only extended through December 31, 2013. So if you or someone you know is facing the threat of foreclosure, it is important that you act now to take advantage of this tax exemption.

I am a very knowledgeable and personable licensed real estate agent that is backed by a team of professionals that have over 30 years’ experience in real estate and short sale transactions. Some of us have been in your shoes and can relate to the pressures a foreclosure presents.

I have learned through personal experience and have invested time and focus to my trade and I am specially trained to help homeowners escape the threat of foreclosure.

If you know of someone who could use my help, please direct them to my site sellbuyselby.comor pass along my information below.  They can also contact me for a private-no obligation consultation. I make it my passion to help a find a solution.

Sincerely,

Anna Selby

Anna, this is great news!  Even though I think it is critical to reduce our federal spending this remains a necessary program for at least another year until we are out of this housing mess.
