How I started increasing my business

                                   HOW  I STARTED OBTAINING MORE BUSINESS

  First of all i'm a firm believer that you achieve as much as you work at succeeding...If you don't put time into increasing your database then your level of business will always be where your at now...I don't care if you close one loan a month or twenty if your like me I'm never too busy for more possible clients...How many of you cold call or while doing floor time your always just waiting for the phone to ring..How do u get your business? Everyone has there own ways this is mine.......

  I surround myself with positive people who support and believe in me and themselves.. I watch and learn and ask alot of questions from people who are at where i want to be professionally.So that is why I chose Olympic Northwest Mortgage.The owners Walt and Kay,the loan officers Connie (who's always so nice and knowledgable), Frank(who is a master at building a database) Mark Flanders(who introduced me to active Rain and as u all might know is very knowledgable)and everyone else there is such a pleasure to work with...I take idea's from them and do what works for me. ACTIVE RAIN IS ALSO A GREAT LEARNING TOOL!!!!!!

  Next I take everyone I know and ask them if they or someone they know were considering on purchasing or refinancing a home do they have someone they would refer them to and if not if i can be that person and add them to my data base. If you do not ask you will never know!! First I wanted to find out who are gona help me succeed and who i wanted to devote my energy too..We all know time is money!!!

  Then i spend time at least once a month keeping in touch giving them some helpful info or just a letter saying hello...The key is keeping in touch...How many of you did a loan and never heard from them again...the day you close there first should be the day your thinking about preparing for the next. Many of us go were our friends recommend, MOVIES< RESTUAURANTS< MECHANICS<STORES< SO advise your clients that you do your business by referral and if they liked your service to please recommend it to there friends and you'll be surprised how willing someone is to tell others that they loved your service because there are those bad lenders out there that we all know that has given us a bad name...:(

   Also everyday when I go somewhere I bring my business cards and I try to hand out a few eachday whenever i talk to someone..How do I do this u ask? Well we all  meet people everyday, but most of the time we don't talk to them. Ask how someone's day is at the counter of who's helping you or sitting next to you, be yourself...WHEN YOU FIRST MEET SOMEONE THEY ALMOST ALWAYS ASK ( SO WHAT DO U DO FOR A LIVING) There's your oportunity to sell yourself ...you can be at the local bar, friends party,church,local home depot, anywhere...getting your name out there is the key...no pressure is also key,U don't need a deal from them today!...they will come to you. just ask them the question if you or someone you know was in the market for a new home or refinancing there current is there a lender (REALTOR for u agents) you would refer them to?
