Toronto's Up and Coming Neighborhood: Leslieville

Toronto's Up and Coming Neighborhood: Leslieville has many restaurants and shops that you may just not know about. Leslieville is what many people are calling 'the up and coming neighborhood'. And from talking to people and businesses that have seen the change over the decades, it has come a long way. While Toronto Life called it the 'Brooklyn' of Toronto, people from Toronto call it 'Leslieville'. People who live in Leslieville are not huge fans of being compared to a city in New York. And by all means they shouldn’t be compared. There is a lot of history in the neighborhood of Leslieville, originally an industrial area, which means you should call it the 'Leslieville' of Toronto. Today, the main avenue of Queen St. E is lined with tons of restaurants, shops, dentist offices and even veterinarian offices. The one thing that keeps this a quiet little suburb is there has not been an influx of condo buildings built. This neighborhood has remained and hopefully will remain a quiet little suburb just outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown Toronto. If you’re interested in living in this area, I would be glad to help you find a home of your own where you can enjoy all Leslieville has to offer. Check out the video to see some of these restaurants and shops as well; all located in Toronto’s Up and Coming Neighborhood; Leslieville!
