Real Estate Agent with Century 21 New Millennium MD

DO YOU NEED A 100% USDA RURAL DEVELOPMENT LOAN TO BUY OR SELL A HOUSE in St Mary's, Calvert and Charles County Maryland?

This is a follow up to my September 2012 blog concerning changes in USDA Rural Development eligible areas.

As March 27, 2013 draws nearer be aware that changes in the areas of Chesapeake Ranch Estates and Drum point, Calvert Co. MD and some areas of Lexington Park, St Mary's County MD, are expected to occur, resulting in these areas no longer being eligible for USDA Rural Development Loans.

If you are thinking of Buying or Selling in these areas you need to act NOW.

If  you are in a transaction you need to be sure that your transaction is complete by March 27, 2013, in order to get the loan you need to buy or sell the house.  Talk to your Lender.

Final confirmation will come soon so if YOU NEED A 100% USDA RURAL DEVELOPMENT LOAN TO BUY OR SELL A HOUSE you should consider acting NOW.

Margaret~ There is a small chance that congress will not act and that this will not take place but no one should take that chance. With rates at all time lows now steadily on the rise, now is the time! Thank you for your post

Brian - Thank you for your comment.  It would be a great loss to Sellers and Buyers if the USDA Rural Develpoment loan areas are reduced.  Let's hope it will not happen.  Margaret C.
