Today's Menu Monday comes from Steiner's European Deli & Market, located at 2630 South 4th Avenue. Owned and Operated by Jeff Stoner (former Choralair) and his wife, they have a nastalgic location on 4th Avenue. With homemade German recipes and a variety of deli meats and salads, Steiner's brings some good food to Yuma. My favorite item on the menu is the Bean & Brat soup. One of several differen...t soups that they make daily, Steiner's offers it's patrons an option to sample them each so that you can find the one that calls your name. For me, the Bean & Brat soup will warm your soul, put a smile on your face and put some food in your belly. Your spoon will find it's way through the bowl of sliced beef and pork bratwursts and a variety of beans each and every time you get ready to take a bite.
The soup can be combined with a sandwhich to make it a combo, but I prefer it on it's own. My pallet isn't deserving enough to be spoiled by anything else then this soup while I am at Steiner's. So the next time you want some food that makes you want to enjoy the simplier things in life after you eat it, try the Bean & Brat Soup from Steiner's, and if your lucky, you just might run into a Choralair!
