Blossom Valley Housing:  A Community Worth Living

Blossom Valley housing is a community worth living and much in demand!  Blossom Valley, also known as Blossom Hills, is located in southern San Jose in Santa Clara County adjacent to the foothills, and is an attractive community worthy of your consideration.  As a real estate broker here since 1988, I consider this neighborhood to be a good value... meaning good clean neighborhoods, affordable homes, good schools, close to shopping, accessability and commuting.   The zip codes 95123 and 95136 generally encompass Blossom Valley and is a unique suburb of San Jose.  Many bike trails, the Hayes Mansion, Oakridge Mall, many schools, libraries and parks, and dining experiences, especially in the Oakridge Mall area, and Almaden Lake and perk ponds are some of the many features that makes this a desirable community.

What is good about it?

Among the many benefits of living in Blossom Valley, affordable clean living, it'is close proximity to Oakridge Mall and all the shops on Blossom Hill Road, closeness to the foothills/trails, golf courses, outdoor activities and the occasional deer and other critters, many parks and schools the light rail and Cal Train make for a efficient and effectively designed community.  There are many good universities (San Jose State University, Santa Clara University, many junior colleges), wonderful weather that is often not too hot and not too cold, many artistic venues that are sure to please most interested residents.  Several medical facilities, farmers markets, and a new shopping center on the Blossom Valley/Santa Teresa border on Cottle Road starting to be built in 2013 will surely provide more amenities and creature comforts for many.  I really like to participate and encourage others to do the same in the local Blossom Valley neighborhood association and thus get updates from local politicians, public servants and concerns citizens for the good of the all.New Village Oaks Retail Center Oakridge Mall, Blossom Valley, www.jamesendo.com

How are the Schools?

The local elementary, middle and high schools are considered better than average and some are rated in the highest percentile, especially when you compare the home prices and schools compared to other cities, neighborhoods and zip codes.  Compare the schools by clicking on this link.  There are many special programs for students at all levels of interest.Santa Teresa High School, www.jamesendo.com

 How are Property Values?

The Blossom Valley property values run the gamut from affordable to higher priced homes along the foothills or Communication Hill.  I find this is a nice affordable choice for Santa Clara County residences looking for good value.  There are many homes and condos in Blossom Valley, is often an affordable home as a primary residence or investor, and is very desirable  for many consumers.  Unpretentious, cooperative neighbors, and a great place to live, raise a family or invest.Blossom Valley Home, www.jamesendo.com

If you are relocating here, you know that the Silicon Valley area real estate is not the most affordable, and yet, when you consider many variables, if you can get good houses, schools, weather, arts, safety, health facilities, and living in the hot spot of Silicon Valley, there are many reasons to move to Blossom Valley.  The properties appreciate well, appreciate fast and strong, and will likely be a value for all long term consumers.  Click here to get more information for Blossom Valley and if you are comparing communities, consider comparing zip codes for neighborhood information, graphs and statistics to help you make the right decisions when it matters most!
