You are a wealth of knowledge Debbie, hence the nickname The Flooring Girl.
Debbie, great share on maple flooring...i have a client that is refinishing their maple floors and there are a number of the boards that are birds eye maple and they are just beautiful.
Great advice...I prefer the dark woods on flooring, but love the info regardless....have a wonderful week!
Wow! Debbie! This is really great information for anyone considering maple hardwood flooring. It is so clear for consumers to see that when they contact Debbie Gartner, The Flooring Girl, of Floor Coverings International they will get the information they need to make great decisions! Thanks for another great post!
Debbie, I find your posts contain great information. Wish you had a presence in our area. My wife and I are replacing our kitchen floor very soon. We've decided what we want but I did take a lot of info about flooring from your posts into consideration before making our choice.

Nice. Lots of good info here Debbie. Now I'm thinking I may like Maple more than Oak. Hmmmmm. How to decide?
Debbie I always learn something new when I read your blogs. I always thought that Oak was harder than Maple. You probably have already mentioned in other blogs that Maple is a harder wood than Oak, but I probably missed.
All - Thank you so much for your comments. It's challenging for me to comment individually as I have limited internet access this week.
Debbie- you are once again proving yourself to be the Flooring Girl. I've seen some floors with a grayish tint to the wood and this look could be striking!
Debbie: I have always wondered why some Maple Flooring has a grayish tint to it...now I know! You are a wealth of flooring information.
