Most Expensive Homes For Sale In Highland Park

Most Expensive Homes For Sale In Highland ParkHighland Park real estate is the epitome of luxury homes in Dallas. You can find homes of all sizes, qualities, architectural designs, and of course, prices.

In the past, I have said how much fun I have being a Highland Park real estate agent because of the homes that I get to see - and sell - every day. Words really do not do these homes justice. Heck, even pictures do not do these homes the justice that they deserve. To get a true feeling for these marvelous Highland Park homes for sale, you must see them in person.

**BUT**

And there is always a but... I get to see these homes by showing them to people who I (and a mortgage lender) have already determined are preapproved for a home like this and are serious about buying. As a Highland Park REALTOR®, I know how difficult it is to keep your home show-ready, how difficult it may be to pack up the kids and leave for a showing, how difficult it is to put your life on hold while you are selling your home. I do not take "joy tours" of these homes and I do not allow my clients to do this either. Either you are preapproved for a mortgage to look at these homes, or you do not get in - at least not with me.

If you don't actually intend on buying one of these homes, pictures will have to do. Check out the most expensive homes for sale in Highland Park now. If you actually plan on buying one of these fabulous homes, I will walk you through the process of getting a preapproval and then we can both go and marvel at the beautiful homes that are available in Highland Park. That is my job, and I love doing it.

You know, I think that maybe just maybe this should be added to the Realtors Code of Ethics.

Do you know how many buyers want to just TOUR HOMES and not take the time to prequalify?

I have a very simple statement for them... if you dont' have 15 minutes to talk to my preferred lender, I don't have hours to tour you around.

Of course there are plenty of POP TARTs in our profession that will, but i am not one and i am glad you are not either.

I see no reason to bother a home seller to prepare for a showing, get all excited that this might be the one, and you bring this looker by without even a thought to find out if they can even buy first.

How dare you waste my seller's time just because you like to waste time yourself.

Yes, you don't want to be a tour guide instead of a RE agent.

Kevin: I used to be one of those poptart agents. Just pop up and go any time the phone rang. But I have learned that there is this little thing called respect: Respect towards the listing agents, respect towards the home owners, and respect for myself and my own time. If someone doesn't have the respect for these, I don't have the time or desire to show them around.

Shannon: Your post inspired this one. For anyone else reading this, here is the link: You Can't Lose What You Didn't Have

Doug: Ouch. Just ouch. *wink*

Michelle: Precisely!
