Below are the monthly Big Bear Real Estate sales statistics for the month of December. Once again, we saw several increases in avg. sales price and avg. $/sqft (especially in Big Bear Lake-general and Big Bear City); as well as the majority of homes selling within 5% of asking price (LP/SP). In addition, the inventory of homes for sale has dropped even further. As of this morning, the Big Bear MLS shows only 353 single family homes available for sale in the entire valley, with only 8 foreclosures in the best rental areas (Big Bear Lake, Moonridge, and Fox Farm).
