What a difference 6 months can make in the real estate market in Santa Clara, San Mateo and especially in Santa Cruz. Home values of single family homes and condominiums in Santa Clara, Santa Cruz and San Mateo County increased sharply.

Median sale price for Condomiums in Santa Clara County in November 2012 increased 9.7% compared to May 2012 and 7.9% compared to the same period in 2011. Median sale price for single family homes sold in Santa Clara County increased 2.6% since May 2012 and 16.5% in the past 12 months.

Median sale price for Condomiums in San Mateo County in November 2012 increased 9.6% compared to May 2012 and 36.3% compared to the same period in 2011. Median sale price for single family homes sold in San Mateo County increased 2.2% since May 2012 and 2% in the past 12 months.

Median sale price for Condomiums in Santa Cruz County in November 2012 increased 44.8% compared to May 2012 and 34.5% compared to the same period in 2011. Median sale price for single family homes sold in Santa Cruz County remained the same as in May 2012, however increased 22.3% over the past 12 months.
