Back in May of 2012 we met with a young couple who thought they were ready to buy a home. After our initial meeting, we put them in touch with a mortgage rep to get a pre-approval and then we began to look at houses. And look we did! We probably looked at twenty to thirty homes. After the first dozen or so, the buyers determined that they really liked split-level homes and that was where we concentrated our search.
Finally in October we found a nice split that had a large yard, a beautiful updated kitchen, finished basement and hardwood floors that had just come back on the market. After two visits and lots of negotiations, we had a contract!
After the attorney review ended we began the inspection process and ordered a home inspection. Strange as it was, the home inspector had inspected the house previously and was very familiar with the house. Fortunately the sellers had done SOME work to repair issues but not all of them.
The seller's attorney was relatively unresponsive so we negotiated a solution with the listing agent and kept both attorneys in the loop.
We're thrilled to welcome Keith and Meagan to Colonia and wish them many years of happiness and love as they build their future in their new home!
All the best to you!
