Have you ever heard of the Internet entity called “GoFundMe”?
There are several places on the internet that you can find for startup funds or just to do something like Aaron Carpenter had in mind.
Aaron was brought to my attention by a story in the Elk River Star News. He is the artistic director of the Land of Lakes Choirboys. And he find many times that when the choir is going to perform, the piano at the nonprofit group or school is sadly out of tune. And, it makes for a very sad choir and an even sadder artistic director.
Most of the venues haven’t got the funds to pay even the $250 to tune their pianos. But, he had a bright idea and you can read about his solution and more of the story here.
Many schools, senior centers, and other non-profits will be so happy to hear that his solution is easy, and easy on the ears, too!
