The Future is Wide Open

I had a commitment in Yuba City, CA this weekend, the terrain is pretty flat in this section of California and the highways are straight. A lot of good things happened in there; driving back, I had an overwhelming feeling that the future was wide open. Getting there was just a matter of continuing on the path.

To get anywhere you need to decide where your going and take that first step.  Without a plan and a start you will surely get left behind.

Good morning Tom -

Your words and wide open photo now has that old Tom Petty tune ... "Into the great wide open, where the skies are blue...." raining in my head.  I'll be thinking of this all day.  Make a great one Tom!

Tom: That's a great way to look at life. Follow a clear path and you can see what's up ahead. I'm still dodging trees in the middle of the road here in Carmel-by-the-Sea, or making hard lefts or rights at the ocean. But I will get there as well.

That's funny, I had the same thought after posting it myself John.

We all have a special course, we just need to follow it.

Thanks for the kind comment Kristine.

Maybe that road I'm on leads to Carmel-by-the-Sea Hella.  :)
