How happy are you with your current Brokerage?
Last week Active Rain posted 2013 Inman 100 Most Influential Real Estate Leaders, Complete List
It was no surprise that Gary Keller, co founder and chairman of the board of Keller Williams Realty is prominently on that list.
In September of 2011 I made the best business decision I could have ever made by leaving a brokerage that was limping along, closing locations and struggling to provide mediocre training.
In March 2012 I penned "It wasn't working......so I did something about it! Why I joined Keller Williams RC."
Even in March when I wrote that post I really had no idea how Keller Williams was impacting my life. A full calender year of hanging my shingle at KWRC of Greater Howard County and my business is healthier than it has ever been.
My production in 2012 increased from 10 million in settled sales to just over 20 million. Out of all Howard County Realtors in 2012 I am in the top 20 at number 15.
Thanks to weekly coaching sessions from my Team Leader, Rachel Resch, I work smarter. There have been many Ah Ha moments. My business tools are abundant thanks to the advanced technology provided and continually updated to stay ahead of the market. We also have an amazing open door philosophy of the quality, top producing agents in our office; EVERY DAY there is a full calendar of training in the office catered to every skill level. 20 million was easier this year than 10 million in the past.
Here is our office.
"No child left behind" may be the Maryland Public School slogan, but KWRC of Greater Howard County beats to the same drum. Until October this year I will receive 100% of my commission & I also receive a check in my bank account every month thanks to profit sharing. (Last year it took only 45 days to recap again) The commission split is the same for EVERY agent. How fair and equal is that?
LIFE IS GOOD ; I spent more time with my family in 2012, I volunteered at my son's school and I was also able to make a decent donation to Hillcrest Elementary technology department.
Keller Williams Realty is worldwide. If you are not getting what you need from your current brokerage you may want to consider making the move. At the very least call your local Keller Williams office and ask about FAMILY REUNION. They may have a ticket to spare to join the event in Dallas. Here is the Keller Williams Family Reunion 2013 Survival Guide in case you do.
You will not regret it!
