Let's Make This The Best Week Of The Year!
Welcome all to this edition of The Monday Morning Message. Today is a day that reminds us that people are the ones that make a difference in our world. People, one by one, decide that a change is needed or something needs to be done and they work to make a difference. We do not all have to be political figures or national leaders for any particular cause, but we can all make a difference in our communities. This week continue to work on building stronger family relationships, better businesses, healthier body's, and more powerful minds. Also, find ways that you can contribute and serve where you are. Can you donate time to help an organization? Can you donate some extra things you may have that will make a difference to someone else? Can you show your children or young people in your life that there is always something that can be done? Can you send an unexpected card of "I am Thinking of YOU". Think about what you can do. There absolutely is something. It just depends on if you will do it or not. Let's Make This The Best Week Of The Year!
ENCOURAGEMENT CORNER...
It Only Takes A Moment
It only takes a moment
to reach out to be a friend,
but to the one who needs you
the memory never ends.
A simple act of kindness
to a person you don't know
may plant a seed of friendship
that for them will always grow.
We sometimes lose perspective
of the difference we can make,
when we care more of our giving
and care less of what we take.
So remember that your actions
may help change a life someday.
Always think about the person
that you meet along the way.
For it only takes a moment
to reach out to be a friend,
but to the one who needs you
the memory never ends.

WORDS TO LIVE BY...
"Faith is taking the first step, even when you don't see the whole staircase."
"The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy. "
"In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends. "
"Human progress is neither automatic nor inevitable... Every step toward the goal of justice requires sacrifice, suffering, and struggle; the tireless exertions and passionate concern of dedicated individuals."
"The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education."
