I loved being in the orchestra.  That is a great local post that will be appreciated by Huntseville, Texas families.  Thank you for sharing!

Hooray for the Huntsville Youth Orchestra! Kids who study music are usually very smart and very disciplined. When I was teaching, I always loved having the band kids in my class - they were great students!

It is so good for our youth to be exposed to music.  Their talents shine through and they find something to focus their free time on.

Joni - with all the bad things kids can get into the Huntsville Youth Orchestra sounds like a perfect activity to teach children about music and meet like minded kids while keeping them safe!

Thank you, Judith. My nephew used to teach these students when he attended Sam Houston State University! :)

Joy: Music is GOOD for you!!

Rose: That does not surprise me. They are typically well disciplined. The understand that you have to work at something to be really GREAT at it! And they are not afraid to work.

Belinda: I agree!!

Kristine: And somewhere in all of that, they get to have fun! Making music is FUN! :)))
