Marie Graham from White Plains, New York is a decorator/home stager and has her own “The Refreshed Home” which she formed in 2007. Marie has 30+ years of decorating and home staging experience.
As a Realtor, I know a good stager is worth their weight in gold. Somehow, the right stager transforms an otherwise (Yawn) drab home into a work of art. It’s like they wave a magic wand and WA-LA!, the home is beautiful. Since buyers have such a hard time visualizing their own furnishings and decorations in any home, a well staged home is crucial to a quick and profitable sale.
I have been following Marie’s post for about the past year in ActiveRain. My favorite series published by Marie is “Decorating for the Stars”. Each month, Marie shares her astrological insights and gives us an peek into the decorating styles for each sign of the zodiac. She was right on with her assessment of the Saggitarius likes and dislikes. I know this first hand since I fall under this sign. And this month she described the decorating taste of the Capricorn, which is my husband’s sign. It too was spot on.
Now if we could just figure out which sign most female home buyers fall under, we could really be on to something.
