Character With some of the observations in the celebrity world with Lance Armstrong, Manti Te'O, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and others in sports, entertainment and politics we can certainly say people can have clay feet with their letting us down. Well none of us is perfect. But it is an example of a lesson that

Time Reveals True Character.

Something to consider when making friends, building relationships, hiring business partners to work with. I am amazed in school "good character" is not talked about more often. Being honest, being a person of your word, being even TRUE to yourself and what is important to you. They say if you know your values your decisions are much easier for you cause you steer yourself and your life EXACTLY the way you want it to go. Today's quotation in the graphic says character comes from the INSIDE. Actions follow our inside.

Look up to the people that are worthy of your loyalty who PROVE it with who they are inside.

Actions do speak louder than words... watch someone you admire and see how they conduct themselves over the phone, in person, and in stressful situations / good situations!

Well said,

It's very sad that 1) we find ourselves wanting to look up to and admire sports heroes. 2) It's even sadder when one person's mistakes can bring a dark cloud upon an entire institution such as Notre Dame.

And, Lance....he's done a lot of good but what will he end up being remembered for?

Sondra: Celebrities can do some good, no question, but they are human too. I think the football player at Notre Dame just had us confused with his actions, but the institution still is mighty fine to be associated with.

Jon: Celebs are a curiosity if nothing else and get too much promotion. I think our best heroes are those right around us like some in our own family and friends.
