Keller Williams Family Reunion GuideI am so proud that my city is hosting Keller Williams Family Reunion this year. We get to host Keller Williams on their 30th birthday and we also get to have some of the best and brightest agents in the country and around the world visiting the Dallas area for some education, training, and inspiration. How awesome is that?!

Any time I travel to another area for a convention or conference, I do try to take in a little of the local atmosphere and culture. This time, I want to share with you some of OUR local atmosphere and culture so that you can enjoy your trip to Dallas for Keller Williams Family Reunion. The following are a few places near the Dallas Convention Center where you can visit. In a future blog post, I'll share some of the great restaurants near the KW Family Reunion location. Be sure to subscribe to my blog and check back frequently.

The Sixth Floor Museum

The Sixth Floor Museum in Dealey Plaza is the Texas School Book Depository where the JFK assassination took place back on November 22nd, 1963. The museum encompass the 6th and 7th floor of the building and chronicles the live and times of John F Kennedy, the assassination, the stories, and the conspiracy theories. You can see the window that housed Lee Harvey Oswald and peer down to see the big white X on Elm Street where the fatal shot hit. Get enveloped in history and mystery less than a mile away from Keller Williams Family Reunion.

The Dallas Arts District

This area is a must-not miss. The Dallas Arts District is an amazing place with a variety of things to see and do. Visit the Dallas Museum of Art, enjoy the sounds of the Winspear Opera House and Meyerson Symphony Center, or spend the day at the Nasher Sculpture Center. The Dallas Arts District is just over a mile away from the Keller Williams Family Reunion. This is also one of the biggest gathering spots for the local Food Trucks in Dallas.

American Airlines Center

Sports Lovers Rejoice! The American Airlines Center is the home of the Dallas Stars and Dallas Mavericks. If you are in the mood to check out a game while you are in town, the Stars are playing the Calgary Flames on Sunday Feb 17th at 5pm and dthe Mavericks are playing the Orlando Magic at 7:30pm on Wednesday Feb. 20th. The American Airlines Center is located 1.5 miles away from the Keller Williams Family Reunion location.

Fair Park

About 5 miles from Keller Williams Family Reunion, visit the home of the Texas State Fair and the (former) location of the Cotton Bowl. Don't worry, there is a whole lot more to see there. Check out the Imax Theater,  Texas Discovery Gardens, the Children's Aquarium, the African American Museum, and the Music Hall at Fair Park. During the Keller Williams Family Reunion, the Dallas Summer Musicals will be hosting Catch Me If You Can Feb 12th through Sunday the 24th.

Unfortunately, the Ultimate Murder Mystery Theater at Fair Park will not be performing a public show during Keller Williams Family Reunion, but perhaps you can sign up for a private murder event for your party? Trust me, this is a killer show...

These 4 things will keep you more than busy at the Keller Williams Family Reunion being held at the Dallas Convention center. There are a ton of things to do in Dallas so keep your eyes open. If you have any specific desires, please comment below and I'll give you some suggestions.

I've had a few people contact me and request some additional information. I have a nearby restaurant post lined up for later today. Please let me know what other topics you'd like to find out about.

If anyone is looking for a hotel, my team partner has a hookup. It won't be downtown, but about a mile and a half away from the convention center. Let me know.
