Be Prepared When Heavy Snow Falls ...Save The Trees!

Aimee

Last week was our first big snowfall this year and Aimee had a great idea a few hours into the storm to go out and sweep the snow off of our evergreens so that the branches wouldn't break!

It was a great idea, because the next day we saw a lot of trees and evergreens that had fallen to all the heavy wet stuff!

So the next time it snows in your area ...Get the broom out!

Click on Waffles for some hot properties that will make the snow melt away!

I'd rather shake the snow out of the tree's than shovel a home's roof top.  Every once in awhile I'll see someone actually on their roof shoveling--crazy I tell ya.

Hi Rob,

At least you and Waffles had enough sense to stay inside when the weather looks like that. LOL :-)

WOW, now that was a storm. I hope all is well.

Have a great day in Bristol digging out my friend.

Hey Rob,

I also wanted to mention this is a very good shot of Aimee wanting to save a tree.

I had to laugh when I saw the picture.

Have a great day my friend.

Many of the trees and bushes up here in Ct we need to wrap with string or burlap so branches do not break during heavy snow falls.

Good idea when the snow is heavy.  So far, we have not yet received heavy snow in Maryland.  Today is sunny but very cold.

Have a most productive week as home buyers continue to take advantage of the very low mortgage interest rates.

Rob, besides the great tip on saving trees by knocking the snow off them, this photo is beautiful! Good for Aimee out in the snow - a girl after my own heart! We lost a lot of trees during Sandy so this is good advice for the trees we have left! Have a great day!

The string and burlap are great ideas and I will tell Aimee so she will be ready for the next big snow!
