Do You Go to Work Naked? Then Why Post with No Photos or Graphics?
Steve & Jan Bachman, shared this wonderful classic post that can be used many times over. The array of details and data will surely benefit you and your present or future clients. It is detailed and right to the point. It should also help with any gray areas, to give you an upper hand with this competitive real estate market in your area. Thanks for sharing.
We're in a visual business no?
You wouldn't put a listing on the market with just one photo would you?
No YOU wouldn't.
My Mother always said "we eat first with our eyes"The same is true of blog posts.
Small densely packed text with minimal spacing and no pictures wears out potential prospective readers before they open the eye lid the second time.
Remember your blog posts are competing for viewers just like your listings.
All of us do our best to make beautiful brochures, we make videos and great photos of our listings not only to help sell the property but we want our work to be seen by future sellers who say:
"Wow, what an awesome job that agent did of showcasing that property!
I want her to do ours...what beautiful work she does!"
Everything we do online stays out there forever representing us, our creativity and work ethic.
Take an hour or so and learn how to insert photos, graphics and videos into your posts.
If you have not done so, start taking photos of neighborhoods and local amenities.
You are supposed to be the local expert aren't you?
Well show that you are.
When you go into a competitive listing appointment wouldn't it be nice to send over some of the examples of the blog posts you have done for that neighborhood in advance?
Or, at the presentation show the prospect the photos and videos you have taken of their neighborhood?
All things being equal, who do you think will get the listing...an agent who has all guns firing with great brochures, neighborhood blog posts, photos and videos of the neighborhood or you ....standing there with just your quick comps and a smile?
