Shelton Connecticut is situated in picturesque Northern Fairfield County, surrounded by equally pleasant, family-oriented towns.

The town is not small, but also not overbearingly large with a population of just under 40,000.

In both 2009 and 2010, Shelton was voted the Best Affordable Suburb in Connecticut according to Bloomberg Businessweek. This affordability is made possible by Shelton’s characteristically low taxes led by a low mill rate.

Shelton has many different styled areas which attract buyers looking for residential, urban, and rural neighborhoods. Its neighborhoods remain quiet, while restaurants and shopping are only a quick drive away.

Huntington, one of the town's suburban sections offers a colonial village setting with its original town green, many historic homes, executive neighborhoods, shops, markets, and eateries.

As one drives further into Shelton’s country, they will locate Shelton’s White Hills section, which offers many neighborhoods midst a country setting with views galore.
