REAL ESTATE LISTINGS PLUMMET BY 58.7% IN ANAHEIM HILLS CA
For the seventh consecutive month, the number of active real estate listings in Anaheim Hills declined. The nearly 12% month over month drop was the result of the continued demand for available homes and condos in Anaheim Hills, as well as the typical seasonal decrease from sellers that pull their homes off the market during the holidays. While some of these sellers choose to relist their homes after the new year, many others, who were testing the waters of the real estate market and were in no hurry to sell, prefer to wait until the Spring buying season heats up.
While some skeptics claim that the decrease in listings is nothing to get excited about and a common occurrence at this time of year, one cannot argue with the fact that the major plunge in the year to date stats is impressive. Since January, the number of real estate listings in Anaheim Hills has plummeted by 58.7%, and the inventory of distressed property listings is nearly non-existent.
The Anaheim Hills, California real estate market is currently very healthy, and the lack of available houses and condos for sale continues to place upward pressure on home prices in the area.

PENDING REAL ESTATE SALES DROP FROM NOVEMBER TO DECEMBER
There was a 22.4% drop in pending real estate sales in December, in Anaheim Hills, when compared to the previous month. However, the year to date figures indicated that the Anaheim Hills real market had vastly improved and has made a comeback. The number of pending real estate sales documented at the end of December 2012 were nearly 273% greater than the number of pending sales in January of this year.

SALES FIGURES POINT TO A REAL ESTATE MARKET REBOUND IN ANAHEIM HILLS
On a month to month basis, real estate sales fell by 3.9% in Anaheim Hills, California. This was based on the revised number of sales posted in November 2012. It's important to note that a drop in real estate sales is to be expected between November and December, as many buyers choose to suspend their home search during the holiday season, and I'm excited to see that the decline was as minor as it was. December's year to date sales figures were also very positive, and reflected an increase in closed sales of nearly 285%, when compared to January 2012.
