OCC Settled With Ten Mortgage Servicers

On January 7, 2013, Comptroller Thomas J. Curry of the Office of the Comptroller of Currency (OCC) stated that a settlement has been reached with 10 mortgage servicers, for

dishonest practices in mortgage loan servicing and foreclosure process, according to Bryan Hubbard (202) 649-6870 of www.occ.gov NR 2013-4

I think, Office of the Comptroller of Currency settlement with 10 mortgage servicers will benefit many current and ex homeowners to recover their losses.

Good Evening John,

Happy New Year.  Very good information for those all in the real estate industry and for homeowners across the country.  Instead of settlements, it would be great if the government would stard seeking out these white-collar criminals and lock them up.  These crooks have ripped off and hurt a lot of families, now the government negotiate with them!
