Realtors seeping through extensive cracks
While we Realtors are supposed uphold a common practice & Code of Ethics. It looks that there might be some Realtors forgetting or choosing to ignore our duties. The National Association of Realtors clearly defines boundaries we Realtors must not cross we. Realtors must be zealous to maintain and improve their calling and share with their fellow Realtors a common responsibility for its integrity and honor. We Realtors are required to maintain highest pledge to embody the “golden Rule” and follow a handed down for centuries “Whatsoever ye would that others should do to you, do ye even so to them.”
As a responsible Realtor, it’s our responsibility to accept, honor, and keep our pledge alive. Whether we are in public or online we Realtors have a responsibility and duty to fulfill to our self, fellow Realtors, and the public. I think we all could take a vote to see if this online statement makes the NOT appropriate list:
(Who checks your paperwork and compliance with ethics and state law?
That would be... YOU? Who runs your office meetings, discussing new updates, issues in the business, market trends and stats.... and offering continuing education? Oh, right....that would be YOU again. Must be a most informative meeting - lots of good brainstorming going on - you ...with you. If your website is any indication of how your business is run.....well, that speaks volumes. Your disdain ("they may be misled - so what") in regard to informing a seller that your buyer is potentially making offers on multiple properties at once really does speak volumes, as well. Buyers who think that mode of doing business serves them well, after reading this thread, might rethink that position.")
To close and to end this blog- I don't think it would be much of a competition, I am positive the vote pretty much comes in a landslide, not many votes would say that make that the comment meets the guidelines & expectations set forth. I am confident that eventually comments won't fall through the cracks and that comments of such terrible nature won't be tolerated by a fellow Realtor, and it especially won't be tolerated by a 28 year veteran. From my prospective, there are certain Realtors seeping through extensive cracks, but in time those cracks will be mended those certain Realtors won't exist anymore. I look forward to the day we have patriotic spirited Realtors, there's no room for crusaders in real estate.
Trust is a source of pride and a true honor, trust is power...

Be positive! It's about a leap of faith trusting faith believing acting and making it happen!
