Here are my class notes from the 2013  RE/MAX Rally hosted near Ellicott City outside of Baltimore MD today. You will learn lots more by attending the Rally so here's a sneak preview! The next classes local are offered in Northern Virginia and Richmond.

The consumers are selecting Agent their age because of the communication on THEIR chosen comfort zone communication platforms.

Perception is reality.

Last year was first time Buyers selected their homes more so than the Agents.

Create your own environment.

It's how you make them feel.

Ability to control exact state of mind is common denominator amoung top hundred agents studied.

Look at percentages of un represented Sellers and amount about to reenter market...treat each person as though your $ for food depended on it.

But...cover your B.U.T. best use of time...

Sphere of influence ...reevaluate this...focus on everything to grow this.

Personal Time to reenergize is very important.

Train people how to treat you.

Get out of your own way.

Top 4 BUTS Best Use of Time Top 5 Not to Do...

No open ended questions....bottom line conversations.

Marketing Networking and Systems 65% use first Agent with whom they come in contact. 

69% un represented, too.

Check local board for transactions. How many have your name on them.

41 real estate related conversations to lead to HIRE.

Get out of the office.

Systems are IT. Auto search, drips, emails...different platforms have different styles.

Focus on Marketing/Networking plus Systems!

Leads are no longer based on a single office. Lead distribution...one hour to accept during business hours daily 8-5. Each hour, five more agents. To manage leads...run lead performance report  in Reports and Summaries box . Check leads pending review and acceptance box. 

Service areas....8 default and 5 customizable. Service area can be modified under My Account in Mainstreet.

Rem.ax URL shortener on Mainstreet  Home Value Reports is a Seller Tool....starting point for value.

RE/MAX Agent websites ..customizable plus ready to go.

All leads generated on website route to Agent.   Look under Site Builder. Import contacts...look in Leadstreet client's section under Contact List tab by selecting Import Contacts.

Service Area for Roster vs Zip Codes.

Homes.com is powering Seller estimates based on historical price trends, tax assessments, comps recently sold but does not do Agent needed functions such as special features, location and current market conditions. This is a START Point only. Competes with Zestimate.

URL Shortener gives QR Code and shorter URL and stats. Plus brands with photo for website. All leads come back. This is a LEAD GENERATOR!!!!!

Use Seller Home Value reports with this URL shortener. Can view URL History to see ALL. Go see stats also. Yummy.

21 DAY Lead Rule. Must sign in or dropped from system until jump back on. Put in 8i. 

Adjust User Settings.  Contact Management ...contacts are pulled over. Or...Add, import etc. Import Contacts!
