Movie Monday: Movie Trilogies by Donna Foerster
Theme days for blogging. What a great way to keep the topics rolling. I am a fan of the Jason Bourne movies. I also enjoyed the Dark Knight movies. I am contemplating the upcoming release of the Bruce Willis Die Hard movie. It is all about action and intellect for me. And Donna I wish you well during your upcoming medical procedure.
Movie Monday: Movie Trilogies
It seems that "Hollywood" is no longer satisfied with the movie triologies, now we have movie franchises! (That's what I'm going to call it when there are 4 or more movies in the "series".) Indiana Jones ended up with 4 movies, I think Rocky has 5, I'm not even sure about Alien!
My Current Favorite Movie Trilogies
Lord of the RingsThe Fellowship of the Ring (2001)
The Two Towers (2002)
The Return of the King (2003)Jason Bourne
The Bourne Identity (2002)
The Bourne Supremacy (2004)
The Bourne Ultimatum (2007)
I say these are my "current" movie triology favorites because I find my "taste" in movies is ever changing. I never dreamed that I would like Lord of the Rings, but the combination of special effects, fantasy and action were so compelling. I'm glad I had the opportunity to watch all 3 movies in a row and I didn't have to wait for each one to be released. That would have been torture!
Matt Damon was born (pardon the pun) to play Jason Bourne. He's a natural and he makes the character come to life. All 3 of the movies are well cast, the fight scenes are choreographed beautifully and the action keeps you on the edge of your seat.
