Why Active Rain? AR Members Join Realtor Hangouts & Share Their Story
Gotta love when we get some folks to drink the Active Rain Kool-Aid like Scott Nowling did. He hosted a Google Hangout and a few us got together to talk about just how much we love Active Rain and what it does for our business :)!
Now, if you notice, my segment looks a lot like I am Rich Cederberg out of New Mexico, but I look like me if you hit the play button :).

Realtor Hangouts are a forum for real estate professionals to discuss timely topics, training tips and best practices. The Hangouts are conducted using the Hangouts feature on Google+. The discussions are converted into audio podcasts that can be found in iTunes and Stitcher and are posted on YouTube. Many Active Rain members participate consistently and last Sunday the topic was Active Rain. Here are clips from the Hangout that address the benefits to the Active Rain experience.

Dave Keys has been a consistent participant in Realtor Hangouts. As a Real Estate SEO expert, I was curious to hear what he would say about the benefits of Active Rain. He lays the advantages of Active Rain out here clearly and is particularly pointed about the benefits to new bloggers.
Erica Ramus has also been a consistent participant in Realtor Hangouts. She picks up on Dave's comments and demonstrates the power of Active Rain with a real-world example.
Brenda Mullen shares a funny story about selling a goat ranch and using Active Rain. Brenda was a vocal advocate for Active Rain during a previous Hangout and when you really hear the message in her story it's no wonder why. There was a marked difference in how the marketplace responded to her marketing versus the previous agent because of her blogging on farms, ranches, etc with Active Rain.
