House for Sale:  Owner will CarryChristina Hood Homes Sells Homes

A desirable idea for a buyer with limited lending options, only is it the same for the owner?  Maybe or maybe not.  In a slower market, it can be a sales tactic used to attract buyers to a home in hopes of getting the home sold faster.

Now is a great time to sell!

If you have to sell now, then it is important to contact a knowledgeable real estate agent who will assist you with the successful sale of your home the first time.  If your home has been on the market recently, then it is also a good idea to get a second opinion from a seasoned real estate agent who may provide you with clear understanding and possible reasons why your home did not sell.

Christina, we have had a few owner financing deals, mostly it was when the seller wanted to get the home sold and appreciated making more money on the interest of a note. It's a good question to ask as the buyer why the seller wants to do owners financing.

This is a good idea for those buyers with a BK or short sale in their history, and enables them to purchase now, rather than waiting!

Great blog, Christina... love the seller financed option since so many people in our area have credit issues.
