However, no matter how delicious the food there sounds, the proof is in the eating. The food is fresh and the presentations are wonderful.

The place to go is Portabellos Restaurant for Fine Dining at Reasonable Prices. Starting out with a basket of warm special herb bread , experiencing the varied main courses in the middle and ending with a choice of six different delicious desserts, the dining (or lunch-ing) experience is delicious from course to course.

The decor adds another dimension to one’s enjoyment. Paintings by local artists are featured around the dining room. Presented via the local art association, you may “take out” art as well as food from Portabellos -once you pay of course!

Nice to see your post from my neck of the woods - I love Portobello's and it is just down the street from my office. Were you just in the area visiting or do you work in Virginia as well? Arlington has a ton of great restaurants but this one doesn't look like much from the outside because it is in a little strip shopping area, but it is a surprise inside and great food. Glad you enjoyed it.
