The PICASSO Art and Arena exhibit opens soon! This exciting exhibition will showcase 39 of Pablo Picasso's are pieces. It is an event to celebrate St. Augustine for the 500th anniversary of the discovery of Florida by Juan Ponce de Leon. The series of 11 lithographs will be on display at the St. Augustine Visitor Center located at 10 W. Castillo Drive from Feb 1 to May 11, 2013, 9am to 5pm daily.

The exhibition is designed for families as well as the art connoisseur. The exhibition offers tours led by specially trained guides who interact with the audience. The show is presented in both English and Spanish.
Ticket pricing includes: $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, $5 for kids ages 7 to 12, $20 for a family of four, and free for kids ages 6 and under, military in uniform, and Flagler College students with identification. Tax will be added to these prices at the time of purchase.

The PICASSO Art & Arena exhibition is also the first of many exhibitions planned as part of the St. Augustine 450th Commemoration. The 450th, as locals are calling it, is a celebration of the 500th Anniversary of the landing of Juan Ponce de León in 2013, the 50th Anniversary of the Civil Rights Act in 2014, and the 450th anniversary of the founding of St. Augustine in 2015.
